Music

We are very excited to welcome the esteemed Rob Lehner to Hinsdale Covenant Preschool, to head our music program.  Covenant will now offer differentiated, in-class musical instruction for all children 2-5 years old for 30 minutes, weekly.  Mr. Lehner has a lifetime of experience engaging children in all the wonderful benefits of music.  He is also well versed in our curricular and religious education themes and will be incorporating them in his weekly classroom visits.  We are grateful to have Mr. Lehner join our team, please help us in welcoming Mr. Lehner to the Hinsdale Covenant Preschool! 


Rob has a B. S. in Music education, voice and choral conducting. Robert has many years of vocal performance and choral conducting and was music director at various churches. His vocal work includes Chicago Lyric Opera Chorus, Chicago Symphony Orchestra Chorus and Professional chorister at Rockefeller Memorial Chapel at The University of Chicago Church of the Ascension in Chicago. Robert has taught “Music Together” for 5 years, and will be teaching “Tykes and Tunes” Mondays, as a part of the preschool enrichment offerings.

“Teaching ‘Music Together’ has taught me the importance of introducing music to the very young. It forms a love for music that lasts lifetimes.”
